Heidi Grimshaw
Community Program Coordinator - Indiana
Heidi is a former first grade and Reading Recovery teacher. She has an undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in education from Westminster College. She is currently pursuing her PhD in literacy from St. John’s University. She is the mother of four children ranging in age from six years to eighteen years. She works with the Refugee School Engagement Program which helps refugee families adjust to the U.S. school system and focuses on the importance of reading. Heidi loves books and is an avid reader. She love spending time with her family and walking with her Goldendoodle.
