TSOS Lecture Series

TSOS is excited to announce its first lecture series, Displacement Today, from 21-23 October 2021. Geared toward higher education institutions, this lecture series will be given at Brigham Young University (BYU), Provo, Utah, from 21-22 October and is sponsored by the Kennedy Center for International Studies.

As part of the lecture series, TSOS invites you to participate with us as we go live with our Global Refugee Archive, hosted by Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library ScholarsArchive, share stories of incredible resilience, endurance, and hope in the course of the two-day event, and perform the multimedia composition, The Story of Our Journey live on campus for the first time.

Following the lecture series at BYU, TSOS is giving an additional performance of The Story of Our Journey live on 23 October 2021 at the Millcreek Community Library. This event will be prefaced by an open hour where the public is invited to come and learn more about TSOS's work, specifically in the area of education, and advocacy on behalf of refugees. We encourage K-12, and high school teachers, administrators, and other educators to join us and ask us about our resources to enhance teaching opportunities.

Their Story is Our Story (TSOS) today announced the launch of the Global Refugee Archive, a database of refugee stories from around the world. The archive is housed at Brigham Young University’s Harold B. Lee Library ScholarsArchive and is available to the public, academic researchers, and humanitarians alike.
