Berit Green

Berit has a B.S. in Public Health and a B.A. in French. She and her family recently moved from Arlington, Virginia to a small community in Germany. Berit landed her first job in DC with the Ethiopian Community Development Council, as a resettlement caseworker focused specifically on employment. She also spent a lot of time interviewing and working with refugees to learn and spread their inspiring and important stories. She then worked for USAID in the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance before deciding to stay home with her daughter and now teaches French for an online high school, and spends most of her time with her growing family.
