Their Story is Our Story: Giving Voice to Refugees (TSOS) will present a series of multi-media programs in northern Utah during the first week of April.

Much has changed. It is freezing and wet, the heating is broken, the basement is full of sewage, they and a big brawl in the camp last night among the residents.

Kirsten is overwhelmed at the outpouring of goodness from so many people, and is thankful for the people who were once strangers to these refugees who came to meet them and share a meal together.

I was approached by the National Association of Professional Child Photographers to do an interview when they first heard about our project.

There were four contributors, including our group. We introduced ourselves and then groups of people would sit at your table to discuss what you do and how they can help you. That was the main event for me the whole night. Being able to talk about what we do, why do it and how they can help. I really stressed to them that we need people to like our page and share the stories. The work is only good as long as the public can see it!

Their Story is Our Story information evening served as the grand finale to a densely-packed USA visit. From last weekend spent at my church's biannual General Conference, throughout five university lectures I was invited to give, interspersed with time spent with my three university kids Claire, Alessandro and Dalton, it was all a joy.
