Emily is originally from Buffalo, New York, where she started her work with the refugee population in 2016. She moved to Arlington, VA at the beginning of 2019 for graduate school at George Washington University studying International Relations, while also working with Newcomer Services at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington. She enjoys taking walks with her dog Sheldon, visiting her nieces and nephews back in Buffalo, and traveling as much as possible.
