Join RST on Saturday, August 21st at 10:00 AM CST for our Saturday Book Club featuring Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario. Sign up HERE!

Enrique's Journey is the riveting epic of a Honduran teenager driven to escape intolerable conditions and fueled by the hope of crossing the border into the United States. As Enrique launches his eighth attempt to reach the United States by means of train hopping, the risks are clearer than ever to him: death, dismemberment, robbery, extortion, and sexual victimization. But the way he sees it, staying in Honduras presents its own bleak and terrifying future.

We'll start our Saturday Book Club with a Q&A with Sonia Nazario, lead by RST's Development Director Ashley Faye, and break into smaller community groups after to go even deeper into a discussion about Enrique's Journey!

Enrique’s Journey was named one of the best books of the year by The Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, People, The Miami Herald, and the San Antonio Express-News.
