Spring 2025 Internship
Their Story is Our Story (TSOS) internships are designed to bring together students and recent graduates who are eager to contribute, learn, and create change. Through this program, interns will have the chance to gain valuable skills, forge meaningful connections, and actively engage in refugee advocacy.

AREAS WHERE INTERNS WORK
Advocacy - Interns will help with research, blogs, and grant writing to support advocacy initiatives, focused on the work of the Refugee Physicians Advocacy Coalition.
Archive - Interns will write succinct and reflective descriptions of interviews to assist Global Refugee Archive visitors with conducting meaningful research and advocacy.
Education - Interns will help with the development of curricula for K-12 using multidisciplinary approaches to engage with and address the refugee crisis.
Nonprofit Management - Interns will assist in managing nonprofit operations, including program coordination, volunteer engagement, and fundraising.
Research - Interns will research and draft briefs, publications, and any other materials as needed to provide context and support thought leadership initiatives.
Story Production - Interns will learn to use the Otter app, edit transcriptions from interviews, and edit stories for publication on the website and for use in advocacy and thought leadership initiatives.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Internships are virtual and last for 8 weeks.
All internships require a commitment of no more than 5 hours of work per week.
The program is open to anyone age 18 and older who is currently working toward an education goal and/or is enrolled in (or is a recent graduate of) a higher education program.
