Sarah Wood

Sarah Wood joined Their Story Is Our Story as a volunteer in 2017 and served as Director of External Affairs and Co-Managing Director before becoming Executive Director in October 2019. Sarah has participated in story gathering trips in Europe and the U.S. She lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and three children and enjoys hiking with her family.

Sarah holds an MPH with an emphasis in International Public Health. She has 15 years management experience with international grassroots organizations. As the granddaughter of a refugee, Sarah feels a personal connection to the mission of Their Story Is Our Story and is passionate about amplifying the voices of individuals who have been forcibly displaced from their homes.
