Jennifer Knight
Jennifer Knight joins TSOS after working and volunteering in the non-profit and education sectors for two decades. She worked as a program coordinator responsible for curriculum design and training for a national youth program (Especially For Youth), founded and ran a Montessori-based preschool, and volunteered as a child and adolescent religious educator. She also piloted a program in her community to use religion-based storytelling to help children process complex emotions and increase cultural awareness. Her passion for using stories as an educational tool can be seen in her work as co-editor for an anthology on female missionary experiences (Do Not Attempt in Heels: Mission Stories and Advice from Sisters Who’ve Been There), in her contributions to LDS Living magazine, and on her blog (TheBostonKnights.com). Jenn’s desire to work with refugees is fueled by her time studying or working with underserved populations in Mexico, Israel, Taiwan, China, and Bolivia. Jenn earned an MLA in Religion from Harvard University and a BA in International Politics with a minor in Chinese Studies from Brigham Young University. She loves reading, exercising, and traveling with her family. She grew up in Indiana and now resides in Boston with her kids and husband.
