Amisha is a member of the Refugee Physician Advocacy (RPA) Coalition through Their Story is Our Story (TSOS). She supports refugee healthcare professionals' career pathways in the U.S., while serving as a liaison for the Georgetown University School of Medicine Peer Partner Program. Amisha also volunteers as an ESL tutor for the refugee community, advocates for mental health awareness through storytelling with ifyourereadingthis.org, and volunteers with hospice patients. She is passionate about advocating for underserved communities and using storytelling to foster community and connection.
