Susan spent twenty years as an artistic director for a youth theatre, before deciding to slow down. This led to various new projects from teaching after school theatre classes to former refugee children, teaching theatre at a refugee camp, and being on Oregon’s World Refugee Day Committee. Her love of telling stories that matter led her to TSOS. Susan and her husband have four children and four grandchildren and they all enjoy traveling, hiking, and skiing together.
